Inspired by the standard black and white cookie they have
size and frosting. Be ready these cookies are a load to carry.
With chocolate shavings on the inside and a thick creamy
frosting outside you may need heavy equipment to get
them on the plate.
THEY'RE BIG
BIG FROSTED COOKIES
Ingredients
1 stick of butter
1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix with an electric mixer. Combine flour and baking soda then gradually add to batter.
3. Stir in chocolate chips.
4. Form batter into 5 to 7 large balls. Place on cookie sheet and press down.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until
cookie begins to brown.
5. Cool and then frost with any of Mr. Smith's great frostings.
For a chocolate frosting, melt 1/4
cup of butter, 3 tablespoons of
unsweetened cocoa in a small
sauce pan. Then add 1 1/2 cups of
powdered sugar (10X) and a
teaspoon of vanilla. Complete with
2 tablespoons of milk and a few
chocolate chips, Stir until smooth.
